PINES PUERCO PORQUE PUERCOESPIN

The project of PINES PUERCO bornt around 2003 in Buenos Aires. Initially as a small company of pins production.
Our values: Art, ecology, humour.

This animation, inspired by the nature landscape of Patagonia, reflects with humour, the problematic of land privatizacion.
It was made in cooperation with Florencia Burton, while we have developed a new product: T-shirts.

The main character is a sort of porcupine.
Many years later appeared NAHUELITO, a small monster, naughty. As part of a patagonian legend, he has its parallel in the monster of Loch Ness.

Our goal was to make high quality shirts, with a clear message of humor. The fabric, inks, labels and packaging were carefully selected, after a long process of analysis of existing brands in the international market.
The chosen supplier to make the prints was stamp-in. The company offered us a variety of possibilities, including glow in the dark ink.

The comic strip of pinespuerco was part of two publications: the social project Bariloche Al Margen, and the institutional newspaper of internet company Arnet.

The company always generated and accompanied projects linked to art. Along with the radio show "Ideas Circulares" and the recording studio "Creadores", we launched the "Bariloche Suena" contest. As a result we published a CD that compiled the songs of the winning groups.
